The newest member of the team
Jeremy is our newest addition. He has been volunteering with Scouting America (formerly Boy Scouts of America) for the last 10 years. His outdoor experience makes him a valuable asset in teaching many of the First Aid skills seen and how to handle life in the elements.
Jeremy focuses on the south side of Houston. He has been known to visit Pasadena, Pearland, Sugar Land, League City, Missouri City, Galveston, Texas City, Friendswood, La Porte, Deer Park, Alvin, Lake Jackson, Dickinson, South Houston, and Seabrook.

Adoption builds families
Every adoption story is unique. A birth mother made the hard choice to place her little one in the care of another family. It is through this adoption journey that Jeremy was able to fulfill his lifelong desires of becoming the father he was always meant to be. After a series of up and downs, in an east Texas town, this little boy got to come to a new home. It would be years later when this adoption process would come to an end and Jeremy was able to live worry free with his son firmly in his arms.
Jeremy’s life has forever been changed thought the sacrifice of others. He’s a firm believer that blood doesn’t make family, it’s the love and devotion you give to one another makes true family.
Prepared for Adventure
Jeremy was a scout as a youth. He passed through the Cub Scout ranks as a younger youth and stayed in Boy Scouts of America a few years until soccer became the higher priority.
When his son became of age, Jeremy quickly found himself remembering so many childhood adventures and knew he wanted this for his son to experience these adventures. Jeremy found a passion for teaching when he became Den Leader and Cub master of his son’s pack. Jeremy took his love for this organization to bigger heights as he serves as camp director, merit badge counselor and NOVA counselor.
Be careful what you get yourself into if you bring this topic up. Jeremy will talk to you for hours on the benefits and the impact scouting has to youth. If you would like Jeremy to come to a Pack or Troop meeting, please let him know.
Here are some of the merit badges Jeremy’s is qualified to lead:
