Susie
A mother of 4 does not even begin to describe the lives that Susie has impacted.
Susie fostered children for 16 years. During that time, she got to show love and compassion to children of all abilities and conditions. After 10 years of fostering, she began to foster children with special medical needs. Her service and dedication to these children impacted about 100 children.
Among fostering so many children, Susie had 3 children of her own. Her 2 boys and daughter further enriched her life in ways that only add to how enriched her life already was. A little later, she adopted a wonderful young woman that has been such a fighter and outlived many of the projections given by doctors.
Following her 16 years of being a foster parent, Susie began working directly with a private foster company. It is during that time when she took the steps to become a certified American Heart Association Instructor. In 2006, she began dreaming of creating and running her own CPR training business.
During 18 years of teaching, Susie was able to meet thousands of people throughout the community stretching all over the Houston metroplex. If you shared a cup of coffee with her, she will fill your day with memory after memory from her adventures, including the time she got to wear multiple championship rings.
It all points to Him
When Susie took on the challenge of creating her own business, she knew her faith in God would become the most important factor in it’s success. Not only did she want to create a CPR class that was full of fun and excitement, making it an upbeat experience, she saw this as an opportunity to let her life reflect her faith. She wanted her company and it’s values to always point to Him, therefore she made it a priority to have the arrow higher than everything else and it points to the One who truly made this company the success it is today.
“God is in control and without Him I am nothing”

Leaving it in capable hands…
In 2024, Susie decided that it was time to close this chapter in her life. After 18 years in the CPR business, she asked her daughter if she would want to take over the reigns of the company. Laura agreed and stepped into her mothers shoes and picked up the reigns.
For Susie, retired is a loose term. She is still invested in the success of this business and helps consult when there’s a need.
